Saturday, March 15 – Sixth Annual Renewable Energy Conference
Pierce Cedar Creek Institute is happy to announce our Sixth Annual Renewable Energy Conference. This conference is designed to provide a quality experience for anyone interested in renewable energy, from the novice to the expert. The conference consists of a keynote session, break-out sessions and a vendor area. Highlights of this year’s conference include our keynote speaker, Todd Parker, of the Delta Institute. His talk is entitled “Blazing a Trail for a Better World: How the Chicago Climate Exchange Has Advanced the National Discussion on Climate Change”. We will again have a session on the state of renewable energy in Michigan and break-out sessions on diverse topics including, building an energy efficient home, cellulosic ethanol, solar heating and appropriate technology. The Renewable Energy Conference is ideal for homeowners, renewable energy enthusiasts and students who wish to learn something new and meet other individuals that are interested in promoting and using renewable and alternative energy technologies.
Time: 8:30 – 4 pm. Cost: $30 for adults; $15 for students with valid ID – Includes lunch.
