Other Research Opportunities

Pierce Cedar Creek Institute is an excellent location for many types of research. The site has a wide variety of unique habitats that provide opportunities for research. The Institute can also provide research support including lab and teaching facilities, overnight accommodations, and meals. Some research equipment may also be available for use. These features make it ideal for all types of research projects, from undergraduate and graduate studies, to long term academic studies. We welcome proposals for research from a variety of fields, including biology and ecology, environmental chemistry, geology and hydrology.

If you are considering using Pierce Cedar Creek Institute as a research site please feel free to visit and scout the property. We would also be happy to meet with you to discuss the project. Contact Matthew Dykstra to set up a meeting. You are required to fill out and file a Research Agreement before beginning any research on site.
